How SettingCloser handles your data

SettingCloser is a live communication-practice club. This page says plainly what we store about you, why, who else sees it, and how to make it go away. It applies to everyone who books a call, attends one, or holds a membership.

The call is recorded

Calls run on Zoom and are recorded and transcribed by Fathom. The transcript is then stored on our own server, in Germany. We keep our own copy deliberately: the recording in Fathom is deleted regularly, and without our copy your feedback could not be written at all.

If you do not want to be recorded, say so before the round starts — the moderator will not run a recorded round with you in it.

Research and model training — separate, optional, revocable

When you book, there is a second checkbox, apart from the required one. It asks whether a depersonalised transcript of your calls may be used to study the method and to train empathy models.

• It is optional. Leaving it unticked changes nothing about your booking, your place in the room, or your points.
• Depersonalised means names, contacts and anything else that identifies a person are removed before the text is used this way.
• You can withdraw it at any time, and the text is taken out of the research set.
• Transcripts collected before consent version v2-2026-09 are not used for this at all — nobody was asked back then, and silence is not consent.

Who else sees your data

Only services we need to run the club, each doing one job:

• Zoom — the call itself.
• Fathom — recording and transcription.
• Whop — membership, sign-in and direct messages.
• Tribute (Telegram) — subscription payments.
• Anthropic — the transcript is sent to their API to draft your personal feedback. It is not used to train their models.
• all-inkl (Germany) — the server where our database lives.

We do not sell your data, and we do not hand it to advertisers.

Your rights

• See everything we hold about you — one click from the link in your booking email.
• Cancel a booking — same link.
• Delete everything — same link, or write to us. Deletion removes your personal record, including your transcripts.
• Withdraw a consent — the marketing one and the research one are separate and each can be withdrawn on its own.
• Complain — you can raise a complaint with your local data protection authority.

The legal basis for all of it is your consent, given when you book, and stored word for word together with the version of the text you saw.

Звонок записывается

Звонки идут в Zoom, запись и расшифровку делает Fathom. Расшифровка затем хранится на нашем собственном сервере в Германии. Свою копию мы держим намеренно: запись в Fathom регулярно удаляется, и без нашей копии разбор написать было бы не из чего.

Если вы не хотите, чтобы вас записывали, скажите это до начала раунда — модератор не станет вести записываемый раунд с вашим участием.

Исследование и обучение моделей — отдельно, добровольно, с правом отзыва

При записи на звонок есть вторая галочка, отдельно от обязательной. Она спрашивает, можно ли использовать обезличенную расшифровку ваших звонков для исследования метода и обучения моделей эмпатии.

• Это добровольно. Не поставить её — ничего не меняет: ни запись на звонок, ни место в комнате, ни баллы.
• Обезличенная — значит, имена, контакты и всё, по чему человека можно узнать, убраны до того, как текст пойдёт в дело.
• Отозвать можно в любой момент, и текст выйдет из исследовательского набора.
• Расшифровки, собранные до версии согласия v2-2026-09, для этого не используются вообще: тогда об этом не спрашивали, а молчание согласием не считается.

Кто ещё видит данные

• Zoom — сам звонок.
• Fathom — запись и расшифровка.
• Whop — членство, вход и личные сообщения.
• Tribute (Telegram) — оплата подписки.
• Anthropic — расшифровка уходит в их API, чтобы составить ваш разбор. Для обучения своих моделей они её не используют.
• all-inkl (Германия) — сервер, где лежит наша база.

Мы не продаём ваши данные и не передаём их рекламодателям.

Ваши права

• Посмотреть всё, что мы храним — в один клик по ссылке из письма.
• Отменить запись — та же ссылка.
• Удалить всё — та же ссылка или письмо нам. Удаление убирает вашу личную карточку вместе с расшифровками.
• Отозвать согласие — согласие на рассылку и согласие на исследование раздельные, каждое отзывается само по себе.
• Пожаловаться — вы вправе обратиться в надзорный орган по защите данных в вашей стране.

Основание для всего этого — ваше согласие, данное при записи и сохранённое дословно вместе с версией текста, который вы видели.
